Matt Giteau will end his six‑year stint with Toulon as the French rugby club's backs coach following the departure of Mike Ford.
Head coach Ford left Toulon by mutual consent on Tuesday after only six months at the Top 14 heavyweights with fellow Englishman Richard Cockerill taking over until the end of the season.
Giteau announced at the end of January that this season would be his last in France and he would be continuing his career in Japan.
