Former All Blacks Liam Messam and Charlie Ngatai are reportedly the latest New Zealand rugby players being scouted by French clubs.
Ngatai is being chased down by Toulouse and Messam is being chased by Lyon.
Both are on the Chiefs books for next year's Super Rugby season.
Internationals Aaron Cruden, Tawera Kerr‑Barlow and Hika Elliot have all left for French deals.
One‑test All Black midfielder Ngatai has been plagued by concussion problems but appears to be clear of them now and was in good form late in the New Zealand season.
Loose forward Messam has played 43 tests and 161 games for the Chiefs but is out of the test frame now.
