Former Flying Fijians captain Mosese Taga

Former Flying Fijians captain Mosese Taga has passed away at the age of 57 years.

In a statement, the family says Taga passed away peacefully in Suva after a short illness on the 1st of this month.

The family says his homecoming service will be on the 8th of this month at the Wesley City Mission Church at Butt Street in Suva and he will be laid to rest at the Lovonilase Cemetery.

The family says because of the current COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no reguregu or consumption of grog.

Taga captained the Flying Fijians team to the 1991 Rugby World Cup and made his debut for Fiji during the 1987 Rugby World Cup when they faced New Zealand.
