Wallabies playmaker Bernard Foley admits watching the video of the disappointing loss to Ireland was tough viewing but says victory over England on Sunday would erase some of the pain of June's 3‑0 series defeat.
The 27‑24 loss in Dublin last weekend ended Australia's grand slam hopes but Foley believes facing England is the perfect opportunity to finish 2016 on a high.
England has been unbeaten since Eddie Jones's appointment as coach and victory over his native country would be a 14th successive win for the former Wallabies mentor ‑ who is aiming to become the first coach to lead the English to an unbeaten 12‑month campaign.
Foley was the star man when the two sides last met at Twickenham, scoring 26 points.
The Wallabies will meet England at 3.30am Sunday.
