Vodafone Fiji has announced a $3.1 million sponsorship deal for the Fijiana 15s team for the next 5 years.
Vodafone Fiji Chief Marketing Officer, Rajnesh Prasad says Vodafone has had a long partnership with the Fiji Rugby Union over the years.
The agreement sees Vodafone Fiji sealing the naming rights as they will now be referred to as the “Vodafone Fijiana 15’s”.
Prasad adds Vodafone Fiji's sponsorship goes beyond the immediate benefits for the Fijiana 15s team.
He also adds it sends a powerful message to our society and the world that women's sports are equally important and deserving of recognition, investment, and celebration.
The Chief Marketing Officer further adds this partnership paves the way for more opportunities for women in rugby, encouraging young girls to take up the sport and pursue their dreams fearlessly
FRU Acting Administrator Sale Sorovaki says they are extremely grateful to Vodafone Fiji as they have been one of their most loyal and important partners for many years.
Sorovaki also says this significant support will put the team in an even better position to seal their first-ever win against the Wallaroos next Saturday and assist them in preparation for the 2025 Rugby World Cup. Prasad reminds the girls as they don the jersey emblazoned with the Vodafone Fiji logo, remember that they carry the hopes and dreams of an entire nation.

The Vodafone Fiji logo will appear on the Fijiana 15’s jersey-front center and at the back of the shorts.
