The Fiji Pearls are excited to test their skills against the South African in the Digicel/Punjas Netball International Series at the Vodafone Arena.
Coach Vicky Wilson believes these are exciting times for the Fiji Pearls especially for the five Under 21 players in the squad that are participating in a tournament.
Wilson says that it will be vital for them to adjust to the pace and rhythm of the South Africans and to be able to establish their own rhythm to challenge the 5th ranked nation.
Fiji is ranked 7th in the world.
She adds the test series is integral for Fiji’s preparation for the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia where Fiji have been pooled with the Proteas.
The Fiji Pearls will take on South Africa at 6.30 tonight at the Vodafone Arena.
