Parliament has been assured that our Fiji Men’s National 7s team players are protected and insured.
This assurance was given by the Minister for Youth and Sports Parveen Bala after he was asked by SODELPA MP, Mikaele Leawere whether our sevens players are insured when they go and play overseas.
Bala also maintained today that the issue of drug abuse among the Ba Football players is still an allegation at this stage.
This is after SODELPA MP, Ro Filipe Tuisawau told parliament that it was not an allegation as the players have been tested positive.
Bala also told Tuisawau to bring the players medical report if he is disputing that it is not an allegation.
