The Fiji Airways Drua has qualified for the semi-finals of the Australian National Rugby Championship despite losing to Sydney Rays 36‑29 at the ANZ Stadium last night.
The Rays produced one of the competition upsets as they finished their season on a high note finishing with 13 points at 8th place.
The Drua scored five tries to secure a bonus point which kept them at third place with 22 points.
They will now await the result of the last two matches to determine who they will play in the semifinals.
The remaining two games will see table toppers Queensland Country taking on Perth Spirit at 6pm today while the Canberra Vikings will take on the Greater Sydney Rams at 4pm.
The scenario is that if the Queensland Country lose to Perth Spirit and the Canberra Vikings beat the Rams, the Drua will play the Queensland Country in Brisbane.
If the Vikings lose to the Rams and the Country beat the Spirit then the Drua will have to travel to Canberra to face the Vikings.
