Rugby fans will soon witness Olympic Sevens Gold Medalist, Semi Kunatani playing in the forwards for the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians in the Europe Tour.
Head Coach John McKee says that Kunatani who is with the Toulouse Rugby Team would have never made the Fiji 15s team as a winger.
Speaking to Fijivillage, McKee says its pleasing to see that Toulouse has started to use him in the backrow and they know how an excellent athlete Kunatani can be in the forwards.
Another former 7s player, Levani Botia has been drafted in the Fiji 15s squad as a backline player but he is also expected to play a vital role in the forwards.
The local-based players will leave for Toulouse tomorrow morning where they will go into camp with the overseas based players.
The Fiji 15s team will face Italy on the 12th of next month in Catania.
They will also play Ireland and Canada during their Tour.
