Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s Coach Gareth Baber says the team will be working to replicate their performance and maintain consistency as they work toward defending their title in the Hamilton 7s.
Baber adds that bettering their performance will be a huge task but one they are determined to achieve as all teams are gunning for the top four spots on the World Rugby 7s Series Standings.
He has also applauded his squad for their resilience and determination shown after day 1 of their three day camp.
Baber says that the players are again being urged to reduce the amount of food and alcohol they will consume during this festive season.
20 players have regrouped in Suva for their preparation to defend their title in the Hamilton 7s in a three day camp that will end tomorrow.
Fiji will lead Pool A with Australia, Argentina and Wales in the mix.
The Hamilton 7s will be held from the 26th to the 27th of next month.
