The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team has started their training as they aim to secure their fifth consecutive win at the Hong Kong 7s next month.
Captain Kalione Nasoko and Jerry Tuwai were the only two players from the last leg of the series who were not in training at Albert Park yesterday.
Speaking to Fijivillage Coach Gareth Baber says that while there is a risk of releasing some players for this weekend’s Marist 7s, there is greater need for players to have more game time before camp starts.
Baber also confirms that former Fiji 7s Coach, Joe Savou will be assisting him in their preparations for the Hong Kong 7s.
The Hong Kong 7s will be held from the 5th to the 7th of next month.
