President Jioji Konrote reminded the new Fiji 7s players to take this opportunity and use it to their benefit.
While stating this during the Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s team and Fiji 7s Development team’s itatau, Konrote stressed that they will be travelling to this Oktoberfest 7s as the number one team so the new players should take advantage of this opportunity and make something out of it.
He adds that players should show humility in victory and accept defeat graciously.
Meanwhile, coach Gareth Baber is using the tour as a development opportunity for his squad members and to strengthen depth ahead of the 2019/2020 HSBC Sevens Series and for the Olympic Games in Tokyo next year.
The team leaves for Germany this Monday with the 7s competition to be held from the 22nd to 23rd of this month in Munich.
