The Fiji National Rugby League Board Chairperson Filimoni Vosarogo and board members, with the Fiji NSW Cup Bid team led by Petero Civoniceva has acknowledged the need to work together to mutually benefit each other and more importantly, the need to set a platform that would ultimately benefit players and rugby league clubs across Fiji.
After previous meetings with Civoniceva, the FNRL Board has listed questions for Civoniceva and his team to clarify, given that some FNRL board members were not included in discussions in the last 3 years.
Speaking from Queensland to Fijivillage, Civoniceva says they would get back to the FNRL board within the time frame agreed to.
He adds he is working with the FNRL board and is optimistic about a bright future, hoping to make an official announcement in Fiji in the new year.
Vosarogo adds the board wants what is best for everyone, so having that clarification is a positive sign, moving into 2018.
