They will play Sweden or Ukraine in the last eight.
Raheem Sterling scored the opener for England.
It was his third goal of the tournament.
Harry Kane scored the second goal – his first of Euros – to seal the victory.
This is England's first win over Germany in a tournament knockout game since 1966.
