All Blacks flanker Elliot Dixon is a doubt for the Highlanders clash with the Stormers on Friday as he is suffering from a knee infection.
Dixon woke up in pain on Thursday night and was immediately carted off to hospital.
He was supposed to start for the Highlanders in their 40‑15 win over the Sunwolves on Saturday but ended up watching the game from a hospital bed.
The Highlanders will face the Stormers at 7.35pm Friday.
