The Silver Ferns have showed plenty of guts but finished without any glory, edged 49‑45 by Australia in the fourth and final Constellation Cup Test in Invercargill last night.
The Diamonds were already assured of retaining the trophy for the sixth time in seven years, after winning the first and third Tests by 12‑goal margins.
