Danny Welbeck's late winner gave Arsenal a 1-0 victory over Sporting Lisbon in Portugal, as they retained their place at the top of Europa League Group E.

The striker pounced on a Sebastian Coates error and slotted a shot through the keeper's legs after 77 minutes.

Arsenal have now extended their winning run to 11 games in all competitions.

In other Europa League matches played this morning, Real Betis defeated AC Milan 2-1, while Chelsea continue a commanding lead over Borisov 3-0.

This match is into the dying stages of the second half.

Ruben Loftus‑Cheek netted all of Chelsea’s goals.
