Leading all-time try scorer in rugby sevens history, Dan Norton has announced he will be retiring from rugby after the Vancouver 7s tournament.

Norton says he thinks it's time to hang up the boots and has enjoyed and loved every minute of the last 14 years of his rugby life.

He made his England debut in 2009 and has appeared for them in 91 competitions.

The 34-year-old was part of the Great Britain side that won Olympic silver at the 2016 Rio Games and represented Team GB at last year's Tokyo Olympics.

Norton has scored over 350 tries beating the previous record of 244 held by Kenya's Collins Injera at the 2017 Hong Kong Sevens tournament.

Norton played most of his career as a winger.
