Gold medalists Masivesi Dakuwaqa and Samisoni Viriviri attended the fitness test in Sigatoka today for the Fiji 7s extended team preparing for the Dubai 7s.
Some other notable players that attended the session included former 7s players Joeli Lutumailagi, Waisea Nacuqu and Donasio Ratubuli alongside last season’s regulars Pio Tuwai, Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Amenoni Nasilasila.
Jasa Veremalua and Apisai Domolailai did not attend the session as they had personal commitments.
Fiji 7s manager Ropate Kauvesi says this was done to test the baseline fitness of the players ahead of the camp next week and they will announce the 24 member squad this Saturday.
The Dubai 7s will start on December 2nd and Fiji is the defending champion.
