The Cuvu College Under 18 rugby team is aiming to upset Ratu Kadavulevu School in their semifinal clash of the Coke Zero Deans this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
After scoring four unanswered tries against Suva Grammar School, Cuvu College showed why they deserved to be at this stage with their physicality and pace.
Fullback Ilaisa Druasese will be one of the players to watch after an outstanding performance and scoring their last try with an intercept.
Druasese is joined by wingers Solomoni Donu and Tito Bai and number eight Michael Soko.
Cuvu has never won the Deans trophy since its inception in 1939.
Cuvu College will take on RKS in the first semifinal while Saint John’s College will face Queen Victoria School in the second semifinal.
The Coke Zero Deans semis will be held this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentaries of both Coke Zero Deans semi finals on our sister station, Viti FM on 92.2FM.
