The Crusaders will host the Jaguares in the final of the Super Rugby competition in Christchurch next week.

Fiji-born Crusaders winger, Sevu Reece scored two tries for the Crusaders as they beat the Hurricanes 30-26 in their semifinal match last night.

He scored his first through a brilliant cross kick from Ryan Crotty in the corner.

Reece’s second try came in the second half after Kieran Read, Matt Todd and Jordan Taufua combined brilliantly to create space for Reece, who beat Beauden Barrett with some skillful footwork before crossing in the right‑hand corner.

The Hurricanes only try in the first half came from Ngani Laumape.

The Crusaders led 13-7 at halftime.

It was a different story in the second half as the game opened up and both sides played fluid, attacking rugby.

Ben Lam put the Hurricanes within one point just minutes into the second half, before Mo'unga answered right back.

Laumape and Reece then traded tries, before TJ Perenara scored a try to give the Hurricanes a great chance to steal the win.

However, a late penalty gave the Crusaders the chance to push their slim lead out to four points, and the Hurricanes were unable to find another try to take out the win.

The Jaguares defeated the Brumbies 39-7 in Buenos Aires yesterday.

The Crusaders will host the Jaguares at 7.35pm Saturday in the Super Rugby final.
