Crusaders await details on Thorn
The Crusaders are still waiting on further details about the fitness of Brad Thorn and Leon MacDonald.

The All Blacks lock was replaced in the second half of the Super 14 rugby win over the Chiefs last Saturday.

Coach Todd Blackadder said it is a very unusual for Thorn to have any injury complaints. He said the lock has a bruised heel they are not sure how serious it is and will monitor it.

Blackadder said Leon MacDonald is also probably out for this weekend with a shoulder injury.

Meanwhile in this week's Super 14 games, the Hurricanes plays the Highlanders on Friday at 6:35pm. Then at 8:40pm the Waratahs hosts the Chiefs in Sydney and at 10:45pm the Force take on the Cheetahs in Perth.

Early Saturday morning at 5:10am the Stormers meet the Reds in Cape Town. On Saturday evening at 8:40pm the Brumbies hosts the Crusaders in Canberra while on Sunday morning at 3, the Bulls play the Blues and at 5:10am the Sharks face the Lions.
