Super Rugby defending champions the Hurricanes are relishing the prospect of "brutal" clash with the Chiefs tonight in what will be their first real test of their Super Rugby season.
Hurricanes assistant coach Richard Watt says this is going to be a real scrap of the showdown between the only two sides to take maximum points from the first two rounds.
After scoring 24 tries and amassing 154 points against the Sunwolves and Melbourne Rebels, Watt says the Hurricanes are looking forward to the intensity of playing a top New Zealand side.
The Hurricanes will take on the Chiefs at 6.35 tonight.
In other matches, the Brumbies will take on the Force at 8.45 tonight.
Tomorrow, the Crusaders will take on the Reds at 8.45pm, the Sharks will face the Waratahs at 5.00am while the Blues will meet the Highlanders at 6.35pm.
