Chelsea will not have striker Gonzalo Higuain available for today’s Carabao Cup semi‑final second leg with Tottenham as his widely anticipated signing has not been completed in time.
The Blues ‑ who trail 1‑0 from the first leg ‑ will start with either Eden Hazard or Olivier Giroud up front.
Tottenham will be without Dele Alli and Harry Kane, who are out until March due to injuries while Son Heung‑min is on international duty.
Chelsea have lost both of their meetings with Tottenham this season while Tottenham are looking to win four games in a row against Chelsea in all competitions.
Chelsea will face Tottenham at 7.45am in the semi‑final second leg of the Carabao Cup today.
