Racing 92 fly‑half Dan Carter has confirmed that the French Rugby Federation has informed him that he has been cleared of doping.
Carter and Racing team‑mates Joe Rokocoko and Juan Imhoff were questioned by a commission last week after they tested positive for corticosteroids following the Top 14 Final in June.
Carter took to Instagram to express his delight at his exoneration.
His post read: “Just received the ruling from the FFR today.
“No surprises that the FFR’s ruling was that I’d done nothing wrong.
I hold my integrity and the game of rugby’s integrity in the highest regard.
I just received the ruling from the FFR today.
