Winning any sporting tournament is tough but defending it is a lot tougher.
This is what will be driving the Capital Force as they prepare to defend the Digicel Punjas Netball Super League title against rivals Western Zeniths.
The Afa Rusivakula captained side has stepped up preparations over the last week, leading up to this weekend’s final.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Rusivakula says that as defending champions, this weekend’s games will be difficult as they are not only facing the same team they played last week, but also playing in front of their home crowd.
The Capital Force will play the Western Zeniths in the final at 2.00pm this Saturday at the FMF Gymnasium.
Meanwhile, the Satellite Divas will take on the Jisoko Plateaus for 3rd place at 12.30pm and the Central Swifts will face the Stallion Starlets for 5th place at 11.00am Saturday.
