Singapore 7s defending champion, Kenya are looking to retain their title this weekend.
Many Kenyan fans still remember the moment their national team stunned the Vodafone Fiji 7s team in the final last year.
Irish legend Brian O'Driscoll believes Singapore's tournament can be the crown jewel of the series next to Hong Kong and predicts that it will grow in the future.
O'Driscoll says that teams like Fiji and South Africa have lifted the game to the next level.
Fiji will play Hong Kong in their first pool match at 4.52pm Saturday, their second game is against Russia at 7.50pm and their final pool match is against Canada at 12.06am Sunday.
The quarters will kick off at 4.30pm Sunday, the semis will start at 9.10pm while the Gold Medal Final will kick off at 12.20am Monday.
