Tournament coordinator James Vunituraga

Players and officials taking part in the 36th Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s this weekend will need to show proof of vaccination.

Tournament coordinator James Vunituraga says the vaccination protocol is still a law, and they will be abiding by it.

He says teams should understand that COVID-19 is still around and the safety of everyone coming to watch the competition is paramount.

Vunituraga is urging all teams to fill in their vaccination forms when registering their teams.

2023 McDonalds Fiji Coral Coast 7s champion, Ram Sami Army, Police Blue, Tabadamu, Lavidi Brothers, Wardens, Dominion Brothers, Yamacia and Raiwasa Taveuni have confirmed their participation in the tournament.

The Nawaka 7s will be held on Friday and Saturday.
