Fiji Water Flying Fijian fly-half Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula has been praised for his versatility playing at fly-half and at full-back as the team prepares for the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup semi final against the USA tomorrow.

Coach Mick Byrne says Ravula played at fullback in last week’s game against Tonga and he is impressed with how the young player adapted to the role.

He says Ravula’s ability to contribute both in territory battles and as a link player in attack adds a valuable dimension to the team’s strategy.

Byrne adds Armstrong-Ravula at fullback, allows the team to have a first receiver to slot in during an open play.

The Flying Fijians will face the USA at 10.05pm tomorrow.
