Bula Boys finish fourth in King’s Cup after 8-nil loss to Hong Kong

Indiscipline cost the Bula Boys as they finished the Thai King’s Cup in fourth place after going down 8-nil to Hong Kong last night.

Less than 22 minutes into the game, Tevita Waranaivalu and Ilisoni Logainiwalu were shown red cards for elbowing Hong Kong’s midfielder, Ngan Cheuk-pan.

Fiji also conceded an own goal.

Hong Kong had drawn 1-1 with Fiji in a friendly a year ago.

Meanwhile, Iraq beat the hosts Thailand 1-0 in the final.
