The Blitzboks have suffered a setback after Kyle Brown has been ruled out of the remaining eight tournaments of the World Rugby Sevens Series.
Brown suffered a severe knee injury in South Africa’s semi‑final victory over New Zealand at the Cape Town Sevens on Monday.
Seabelo Senatla also picked up a severe muscle injury, which ruled him out of the final in which the Blitzboks were edged 19‑17 by England.
South Africa currently leads the World Sevens Series with 41 points.
The next tournament in the series is in Wellington which will be played on 28th and 29th of next month.
