Blues lost to the Jaguares 23-19

The Blues are refusing to blame their most recent Super Rugby defeat on the tragic passing of prop Mike Ta-moai-eta, having fallen 23‑19 to the Jaguares in Argentina.

Winless so far in Super Rugby this season, Assistant Coach Tom Coventry says that the Blues were beaten by the better side, refusing to lay any blame on the horrible news delivered before matchday.

After round three, defending champions, the Crusaders are now leading the points table with 12 points, the Sharks are in second place with 11 points, the Rebels are in third place with 8 points while the Bulls are in fourth place with 9 points.

This Friday the Hurricanes will meet the Highlanders at 6.35pm, the Rebels will take on the Brumbies at 8.45pm.

On Saturday, the Crusaders will face the Chiefs at 4.15pm, the Blues will meet the Sunwolves at 6.35pm while the Waratahs will take on the Reds 8.45pm.

On Sunday, the Lions will meet the Jaguares at 1.05am and the Bulls will take on the Sharks at 3.15am.
