The biggest National Rugby Championship crowd is expected at Lawaqa Park tomorrow as the Fiji Airways Drua get to host the NSW Country Eagles in their first home game.
The Nadroga based Drua players have called on their local community to come and support the Drua.
Center Eroni Vasiteri says they hope that the crowd will come out in numbers, not just to watch some great Fijian rugby, but to show the Australian Rugby Union and World Rugby that Fiji Rugby fans will support their teams.
Last week’s match against Melbourne Rising had four Nadroga players in the starting line-up and Peceli Nacebe was the star of the game and man of the match, scoring two tries on top of his first the previous week.
This week 6 Nadroga players will feature in the match day squad, including Nacebe, hooker Ratunaisa Navuma, winger Apete Daveta, Vasiteri, centre Ifereimi Tovilevu and fullback Apisalome Waqatabu.
Peceli Nacebe says he is looking forward to putting on another good show of running Fijian Rugby.
Meanwhile three curtain raiser matches will be held tomorrow including the Fire against the Wardens and the other three between Nadroga School teams and a visiting team from Australia.
Embankment tickets are $5, Grandstand tickets are $10 while kids under 12 will be allowed in free.
The Curtain Raisers will kick-off at 9.20am with the main game between the Drua and the Country Eagles starting at 3pm and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM 92.2FM.
