Hurricanes star Beauden Barrett will tonight front a SANZAAR judiciary for his double yellow card against the Waratahs on Friday night.
The first five‑eighth mixed breathtaking skill with two yellow cards in the 38‑28 win in Wellington; the second of which earned him the first red of his career.
Both were the result of instinctive knockdowns near the Hurricanes' tryline, which gave the referee no option but to reach into his left pocket.
The Hurricanes are second in a tight New Zealand conference with five wins and one loss.
The Hurricanes will take on the Blues at 7.35pm this Saturday.
