The Hurricanes hammered the Stormers 41‑22 in the Super Rugby last night thanks to another skillful performance from the Barrett brothers.
The Barrett brothers collected three of the Hurricanes seven tries as they defeated the South African’s without getting out of third gear.
The Stormers fought back from 14 and 12 points to 22‑all after Jordie Barrett’s first half double tries and tries from Corey Jane and Julian Savea.
Robert du Preez kicked an early penalty to put the Stormers on the board but three tries inside 24 minutes from Jane, Jordie Barrett and Savea, made it very difficult for the Stormers to catch up.
Meanwhile, the Highlanders scored three tries in the last five minutes to score a remarkable 45‑41 win over the Cheetahs this morning.
In today’s matches, the Rebels will take on the Lions at 5pm, the Chiefs will face the Reds at 7.35pm while the Waratahs will play the Blues at 9.45pm.
