The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team urgently needs at least two new players ahead of the Hong Kong 7s.
Coach Gareth Baber confirmed to Fijivillage that he will be scouting for the two players at this weekend’s Marist 7s.
Baber says that the Marist 7s is the tournament where most selections are made for national team to the Hong Kong 7s.
He adds that he will seek talent at the earliest and has also revealed that all national 7s players from previous tournaments will not be released for this weekend’s Marist 7s.
The Marist 7s will be held this Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
Meanwhile, the Hong Kong 7s will be held from the 5th to the 7th of next month.
