Fiji Airways Fijian 7s coach, Gareth Baber has included a few Under 20 reps in his 13‑member squad for the Oktoberfest 7s to be played in Munich, Germany next week.
Vodafone Fijian Under‑20 reps Anasa Qaranivalu, Osea Natoga and Kaminieli Rasaku and Nadi duo Tevita Mociu and Vuniona Vukinavanua join the team with 2019 HSBC World 7s Series players Asaeli Tuivuaka, Terio Tamani, Napolioni Ratu, Isoa Tabu, Apenisa Cakaubalavu and Livai Ikanikoda.
Baber is using the tour as a development opportunity for his squad members and to strengthen depth ahead of the 2019/2020 HSBC Sevens Series and for the Olympic Games in Tokyo next year.
Baber says this is a great opportunity for them to prove themselves and fight for spots in the team to participate in the HSBC Series.
The team leaves for Germany this Sunday, with competition commencing on the 22nd and 23rd of this month in Munich.
