Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber says he is impressed with the skills displayed by the members of national sevens extended squad during his first run with the team this morning.
Baber went on to conduct some skills and defensive work with the team this morning as Apisai Domolailai, Masivesi Dakuwaqa and Josua Vici sat out with niggling injuries.
Baber says the atmosphere is surreal as he ran out with the Olympic Gold Medalists.
Meanwhile, new Fiji 7's Manager Jone Niurua says he is ready to work with Baber and is looking forward to maintaining the discipline of the players on and off the field.
The national extended squad is currently camping at the Uprising Resort preparing for the Wellington 7s which will be held on the 28th and the 29th of this month.
