Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team coach Gareth Baber says he is happy with the performance of the team in their first game against Samoa earlier this morning.
Baber says he was pleased with the way the team displayed pace and power.
He adds that they could have been a bit tidier at times when they did not have the ball but it's the first game, and it is a win.
Fiji beat Samoa 31-12.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports rugby commentator Rupert Cox believes Fiji is showing the kind of form that will make them difficult to beat.
We will play Russia at 5.54 this afternoon and then take on New Zealand at 9.54 tonight.
The quarterfinals will be held at 2.15pm tomorrow, semifinals will start at 7.41pm tomorrow while the final will be held at 11pm.
