The Vodafone Fiji 7s team should be expecting a tough challenge from the Australian 7s team if they meet in the Oceania 7s this weekend.
Coach Andy Friend says he wants to test his young development side against Samoa and Fiji.
Friend says there are five contracted players in his new look team which has players who are all fighting for a spot in the World Sevens Series squad.
The Australian 7s team is highly rated as they defeated local sevens giants Uluinakau at the Central Coast 7s.
Australia is in Pool B with Samoa, Cook Islands, Solomon Islands and New Caledonia.
The Oceania 7s will start at 8am Friday and end on Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
