The Vodafone Fiji 7s team is the best attacking team in the World Sevens series this year scoring 148 tries, 948 points and 104 conversions.
However, the team misses about seven tackles on average per match which is the highest amongst the top three countries in the series standings.
South Africa and England miss about five tackles in every game.
Coach Gareth Baber knows that Fiji’s strength is in attack and he believes in order for them to utilize that they need to gain more possession.
Veteran forward Isake Katonibau had earlier said that attacks win games but defence win tournaments.
Fiji will play their first game against Japan at 11.54pm Friday, they will take on Wales at 5.12pm Saturday before they play New Zealand in their final pool match at 9.12pm Saturday.
The quarterfinals will start at 2.58pm Sunday, the semifinals will start at 7.31pm Sunday while the Final will be held at 11pm Sunday.
