The Co‑Founder of the Silverwater Barbarians Frank Hamagushi has confirmed that they are currently organizing another rugby team to participate in the Darwin 10's Tournament next year.
Hamagushi says that this will be for players who are 35 years and older.
He says that some big names have been included in the team like Tiko Matawalu, Jim Volavola, Jonetani Ratu, Setefano Somoca and Solomone Donuya.
When asked on why this is being done, Hamagushi says that he hopes to give unemployed members of the community an opportunity to have a secure financial future for them and their families.
Meanwhile, Hamagushi says that the fundraising dinner for the team will be held on the 2nd of next month.
