England head coach Simon Amor has named a strong squad to contest the Hong Kong Sevens as his side go in search of their first tournament win at the event since 2006.
Amor has made just one change from the side that claimed gold in Vancouver, with Ollie Lindsay‑Hague returning in place of Alex Davis, who continues to recover from a knee injury.
South Africa is leading the World Sevens Series standings with 126 points, England is second with 103 points while Fiji is in third place with 100 points.
England will face South Korea, Australia and Samoa, while Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, Wales and Japan.
Fiji will play their first game against Japan at 11.54pm next Friday, they will take on Wales at 5.12pm next Saturday while Fiji plays NZ in their final pool match at 9.12pm next Saturday.
England squad: Dan Bibby, Tom Bowen, Phil Burgess, Richard de Carpentier, Charlie Hayter, Charlton Kerr, Ollie Lindsay‑Hague, Ruaridh McConnochie, Tom Mitchell (captain), Dan Norton, James Rodwell, Ethan Waddleton.
