The All Blacks still don’t know who their goal kicker will be in tonight’s Rugby Championship match against the Springboks, according to Captain Kieran Read.
Read said that Beauden Barrett and Richie Mo’unga will let him know later on.
The decision could be crucial for the All Blacks, with Barrett only making two of six attempts in the 34‑36 loss to the Springboks in Wellington last year.
According to Read, the new‑look combination with Barrett at fullback and Mo’unga at first‑five eighth had worked well at training.
The All Blacks meet the Springboks at 7.35 tonight while the Wallabies face Argentina at 9.45pm.
