The best women’s sevens player on the planet will make her test debut for the Black Ferns at number 7 against the United States on Saturday.
Jorja Miller has been named to start for her first match of 15s since switching from sevens in the hope of making the Black Ferns’ squad for this year’s Rugby World Cup in England.
stuff.co.nz reports that the 21-year-old has been selected at openside flanker for the final round of the Pacific Four Series, as well as other sevens converts Risi Pouri-Lane and midfield duo Stacey Waaka and Theresa Setefano.
The world champions face the Americans in Auckland and have to better Canada’s result against Australia if they want to regain the Pacific title.
