4 Fijian swimmers to compete in World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championship in Romania

Four Fijian swimmers have departed our shores to compete in the World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championship in Otopeni, Romania, starting Tuesday.

The Fiji team consists of Thaddeus Kwong, Reuben Taylor, Jonalese Vatubua, and Eden Waqainabete.

All four have represented Fiji at different events locally and internationally.

Fiji Swimming says they are accompanied by Manager/Coach Cheyenne Rova and Technical Official Susau Elaisi, who is also an International Referee with World Aquatics.

The Fijian team’s six-day competition will take place at the Aquatics Complex, a facility purpose-built for hosting world-class international swimming events, with a seating capacity of 2,400.

The Championship will conclude on the 24th of August.
