Three Australians have surged into the early lead as the Fiji International got underway at Natadola Bay Golf Course today.
Clayton Bridges, Jason Norris and Todd Sinnott set the early pace at three under on a packed leaderboard, with 39 players’ level par or better and within three shots of the lead.
American Boo Weekley was among those just a shot off the early lead, with three‑time Major Championship winner and local hero Vijay Singh a further stroke back.
Norris set the early pace as he made a hat‑trick of birdies from the third and he remained three under after ten holes but he was soon joined by Bridges and Sinnott.
