130 teams to compete for glory at 50th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s

130 teams will compete in the 50th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament, which will take place from this Thursday to Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.


The tournament will include 72 men’s teams, 12 women’s teams, 34 U21 teams, and 6 U18 boys’ and girls’ teams.


Defending men’s champions, Devo Babas, will be facing tough opponents in the tournament such as Police Blue and White, Yaro Chiefs, Army Green and Red, Ravuka Sharks, Ratu Filise Rugby, Wardens Gold and Green, Kasabias Village Boys, and Dominion Brothers.


Looking at the 2025/2026 Fiji Bitter Series points table, Police Blue are leading with 3,933.9 points, followed by Village Boys with 3,783.05 points. Army Green are third with 3,257.1 points, while Vacalea are fourth with 3,176.75 points.


The winner of the Marist 7s will be crowned the 2025/2026 Fiji Bitter Series champions.
