Former Natabua High School sprinter Batinisavu Uluiyata has joined the Vodafone Fiji 7s training camp.
Uluiyata was part of the Wardens Gold team that won the Martintar 7s last weekend and has impressed coach Gareth Baber with his performance.
Another player who was picked from the Martintar 7s was Inia Rokomatu of the Tokatoka Westfield Dragons.
Uluiyata left athletics and joined a ProD2 Rugby side, Narbonne in France last year but has returned to Fiji.
The final team for Paris and London is expected to be named this afternoon.
Fiji is pooled with Samoa, Australia and Russia.
The Paris 7s will kick off next Saturday.
