Rewa soccer’s Brazilian import, Diego Maximo says the OFC Champions League is a tough championship and is a good opportunity for Rewa to show their capabilities.

Maximo who is from Sao Paulo, Brazil had previously played for Vanuatu’s Amicale FC and will be joined in the Rewa side by compatriots, Elias Silva and Marcelo Tannus.

Rewa coach, Marika Rodu rates the three players very highly and adds they bring in special abilities that will help the team greatly.

Rodu says Vuniuci Tikomaimereke has joined the team from Nadi and they are also working to get the likes of Setareki Hughes and Madhwan Goundar.

The Rewa soccer side will play their first game against Marist FC on the 11th of March, they play their second game against AS Tefana on the 14th of March while the Delta Tigers will play their last game against Erakor Gold Star on the 17th of March.

Rewa will play all its matches in Tahiti.
